Mazda - History
Toyo Cork Kogyo Company, Ltd. was founded in 1920, was the early name for the car, we know that the Mazda. Toyo Cork Kogyo renamed the in 1927 and moved to motor vehicles. They had been making tools. They built Mazda-Go in 1931. The Toyo Kogyo was known to make weapons for the Japanese fighting forces throughout the Second World War. The RX7 was released in 1978 and continued in popularity RX8. The Mazda Roadster piston engine (you know better than the cute Miata) we introduced in 1989. It was a great success. The tremendous response to the Miata is credited with the resurgence of the small sports car. Good for all automakers.
Mazda suffered a financial crisis in late 1960. In 1979, they acquired a new investor, Ford Motor Company. With 7% in 1979, 1980, acquired an additional 20%. Ford and Mazda have worked on several things that include Ford, familiar with the framework to build their research and sports Telstar models.
