Audi - All Car History Volume 1

Audi has its origins in 1899, and August Horch. When Horch was forced to leave the company he founded, he started a new company called Audi in 1909, which was a Latin translation of Horch (in German: "listen"). From the beginning it was company policy to build cars mainly for the luxury class.
